In Pokémon GO you can now determine the Community Days for September and October. We will show you how to participate in the voting.
What is being voted on? For the upcoming Community Days in September and October, Niantic is allowing you to vote! You can choose between 4 Pokémon. The two monsters with the most votes will get the next two Community Days.
The options are:
- Charmander
- Grimer
- Caterpie
- Porygon
The Community Days are set to take place on September 20 and October 17.
How to participate in the voting on Twitter
When does the voting take place? It has already started! Last night at 3:00 AM the voting went live on Twitter. You can participate for exactly 24 hours. So at 3:00 AM on August 24, it will all be over.
How to participate: To participate, you need a Twitter account. You can create one for free if you don’t have one yet.
Then you need to go to the English-language account of Pokémon GO. There you will find the voting. You can easily choose between the 4 monsters.

The Pokémon are listed as follows:
- Charmander (Glumanda)
- Caterpie (Raupy)
- Grimer (Sleima)
- Porygon (Porygon)
How is the voting going so far? After the first hours, there is already a clear trend in the voting. At 9:00 AM German time, Porygon is at 56.2% and Charmander at 35.9%, clearly leading.
By the way, the “trial vote” took place on Twitter. Two days ago, Niantic already asked which Pokémon people would choose if the vote were today. There, Porygon and Charmander were the clear winners.
If you want to see another one of the two Pokémon on Community Day, you should mobilize plenty of friends to gather enough votes for Caterpie or Grimer.
