In the power sources in Pokémon GO, you can deposit monsters to help other trainers and earn rewards for yourself. Under certain conditions, it is even possible to deposit more than one Pokémon.
What is a power source? A power source is a spot in Pokémon GO that was introduced with the new Dynamax feature. Alongside PokéStops and Gyms, this is the third spot available in the game.
Here you can engage in Dyna battles and thus acquire more Dyna monsters. Additionally, you can deposit a Dyna Pokémon that will assist other trainers in battle and bring you rewards.
As trainers on Reddit have discovered, you can even deposit more than one Pokémon in a power source. However, this is only possible under a certain condition.
2 Battles, 2 Pokémon
How does the trick work? As the post creator writes on Reddit, he visited a power source one day and defeated the Pokémon available there for a Dyna battle. He was then able to deposit a monster in the power source.
The next day, the Pokémon in the power source changed and Tanhel appeared as a Dyna battle. This monster was also defeated by the trainer, who could then place a second Pokémon in the power source.
Every Pokémon placed in a power source can assist other trainers who start a Dyna battle at that source. You can receive rewards for this, which is why it can be quite practical to place more than one Pokémon in a power source.
What should be noted? However, this trick will only work if a Pokémon in a power source is rotated due to an event, for example. Only in this situation will a monster that is already in a power source be replaced.
Without such rotation, power sources simply end and new sources appear. As a result, your placed Pokémon will be sent back to you instead of remaining in the power source.
