The Wild Area 2025 in Pokémon GO has been announced. Here, the event is called “Nature Zone”. No matter where: the date has plenty of highlights to offer.
As of yesterday, the date for the Wild Area 2025 was announced, and now further details about the event are known, which will take place on November 15 and 16 in the global variant.
The good news first: The feature that excited many fans last year and made the event the best of the year for some returns: The mighty
Pokémon are back.
However, there are still some other points that the event will bring, which already seem quite exciting. We summarize the highlights for you here.
The mighty Pokémon return
The mighty Pokémon are particularly strong specimens of monsters that you can encounter in the wild. They had particularly high stats in 2024, had a higher chance of being an XXL Pokémon, and also came with high levels. They could also be shiny with luck.
While the monsters were not easy to catch, the catch was definitely worth it. Last year, there were many exciting Pokémon, and this year’s list looks good too:
- On Saturday, Snorlax, Galar-Gallop, Tyranitar, Flunkifer, Absol, Golgantes, Silembrim, Barrikadax and Maskagato will appear
- On Sunday, Alolan Ninetales, Galar-Wheezing, Granbull, Houndoom, Gardevoir, Kramshef, Kracko, Piondragi and Snibunna will appear
- On both event days, Selfe, Vesprit, and Tobutz can also appear as mighty Pokémon – but only with a ticket and when using incense
By the way: There will be rotating hours over the weekend, always with dark and fairy themes. You will then encounter correspondingly suitable Pokémon.
Exciting monsters in Crypto-Raids
Team GO Rocket is also active in the Wild Area and has two exciting Pokémon in tow.
- On Saturday, Crypto-Cresselia will appear in Rocket-Raids. An exciting Pokémon that is particularly interesting in the battle league.
- Darkrai will be in the Crypto-Raids on Sunday. This is exciting, as it is the first “mysterious” Pokémon to appear as Crypto. This opens the door for further candidates from the series.
New Shinies and Pokémon Debuts
During the Wild Area, you will encounter three Pokémon for the first time as shinies.
- Bähmon debuts in Pokémon GO and brings its shiny with it. It evolves into Pelzebub and Olangaar. It can be found in the wild and in 5-km eggs.
- Brimova also appears for the first time as shiny.
- And I-Zone W also brings its shiny variant for the first time.
More bonuses and event content
In addition to these highlights, the Nature Zone has several other contents and bonuses to offer, which we will list here for you. There is a distinction between bonuses with tickets and those without.

Overall, the Nature Zone has a lot of content to offer. You’ll encounter plenty of Pokémon throughout the day, can meet more monsters on routes, and can look forward to the mighty Pokémon.
