In Pokémon GO, the Wild Area 2025 has been announced. We show you what information about the big event is currently known.
What kind of event is this? The Wild Area, or in English Natural Zone, is an event that took place for the first time in Pokémon GO in 2024. It represents the third major annual event alongside the GO Fest and the GO Tour.
In addition to various regular and legendary Pokémon, the Wild Area in 2024 also brought the powerful Pokémon and the Safari Balls.
The Wild Area 2025 has now been officially announced. The announcement was made in the form of a trailer, which also teases a new Pokémon. Here we embed the trailer for you:
Wild Area 2025: What is currently known
When does the event take place? As can be seen from the trailer, there will be a local and a global version of the Wild Area 2025. The local version will take place from November 7, 2025, to November 9, 2025, in Nagasaki.
The global variant will take place on November 15 and 16, 2025.
What content will the event bring? There is still no further information about the content of the event. It is not yet known whether the powerful Pokémon, the Safari Balls, and the variety of different legendary Pokémon will be included again or if this year’s event will bring other content.
However, in the trailer, a Pokémon is hinted at through footprints and a silhouette. Additionally, at the end of the trailer, the symbols for the types Dark and Fairy appear.
What does the community say about it? The community is confident that they can identify the Pokémon from the trailer. It is said to be Grummsnarl, a Pokémon with the types Dark and Fairy from Generation 8, which evolves from the pre-evolutions Impidimp and Morgrem.
