Pokémon trainers can now find another legendary monster in the world of Pokémon GO. Moltres has been unlocked as the next part of the bird trio.
For a few hours now, you can find the legendary Pokémon “Moltres” in Pokémon GO. As the developers explained on Facebook, you can find the fire bird in the game since the morning of August 1st. Keep an eye out for the legendary raid battles where you can find this opponent.
Finding Moltres – New bird in the game
The first legendary Pokémon can be found since the anniversary event in Pokémon GO. Trainers had to wait about a year for these special monsters that enhance every collection. The first ones were Lugia and Articuno – these were the first to be caught by trainers around the world.
Articuno has now temporarily retreated to its home and makes way for another part of the bird trio. We are talking about Moltres. The fire and flying-type Pokémon has been available in the game since today (August 1, 2017).
Like Articuno, Moltres will only be available in the game for a limited time. According to Niantic, you have about a week to catch the legendary monster. You can find the schedule for the legendary Pokémon here.
Unclear times of the birds
A few days ago, Niantic explained that the legendary birds will not appear as raid bosses “forever”. Each of the three legendary birds (Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres) will only be available in the game for a limited time. How long Lugia will remain in the game is initially unclear.
On Twitter, the Pokémon GO account explained how long the Pokémon will be available and announced the dates. It was initially unclear whether these were US times or global releases. As a result, many players yesterday waited in vain for Moltres. Now it is clear, it was the US times and the original dates are shifted by one day in Germany.
