Tomorrow, the Water Paradise event starts in Pokémon GO

What kind of event is this? While the next local part of the GO Fest 2024 is taking place in New York, the Water Paradise
event will be held for the rest of the world in Pokémon GO.
The event starts on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 10:00 AM and runs until Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 8:00 PM.
You can expect to encounter some Water Pokémon in the wild and by using incense. A brand new shiny Pokémon will also be part of the event.

Which Pokémon can you find in the wild? During the event, you can encounter the following Pokémon in the wild.
- Seahorse*
- StarU*
- Wingull*
- Krabby*
- Clamperl*
- Qwilfish*
- Shroomish*
All Pokémon marked with a * can also be found as shiny.
Shroomish will be available for the first time as shiny during the event.
Which Pokémon can you find through incense? If you use incense during the event, you can additionally encounter the following Pokémon:
- Horsea*
- Lapras*
- Finneon*
- Qwilfish*
Once again, all Pokémon that can also appear as shiny are marked with a *.
What bonuses will there be in the event? There will be various bonuses active during the event, which include:
- Pokémon that only appear through incense
- Increased chance that Pokémon will appear through incense
- Double experience points for catching Pokémon
Which Pokémon can you find in field research? There will also be field research during this event that rewards you with event Pokémon. You can find the following Pokémon here:
- Krabby*

Once again, all Pokémon marked with a * can also be found in shiny variants.
Collector Challenge: You can complete a collector challenge during the event. To successfully finish this, you need to collect event-related Pokémon.
