How long will Latias be available?The entire event started yesterday evening at 10 PM. Since this morning, German players can also battle the Dragon and Psychic type Pokémon.
Due to the extension, you will have the chance to catch shiny Latias until March 1st.

Now there is a whole week to hunt for the shiny Latias. The probability of getting the desired Pokémon is greater because more raids can be done. With the free raid passes alone, one can battle 7 Latias. That’s significantly more than the previously available 3 free raids.
How rare is shiny Latias? The shiny Pokémon has a probability of 1 in 19. This means, at least in theory, that one should encounter a shiny after 19 raids.
To complete at least 19 raids, most players will likely need more than a weekend. It is much better to have a whole week now.
