A trainer on Reddit reports that he caught a Pokémon that will stay in his box for a few years. The reason for this is his daughter.

What is special about this Pokémon? As the trainer reports in his post on Reddit, his daughter was born yesterday. Shortly after the birth, while the doctors were conducting various examinations on his daughter, he launched Pokémon GO for a brief moment.
He caught what he describes as the cutest Pokémon he could quickly find on site. Since the date of capture is displayed for monsters in Pokémon GO, he now has a Pokémon that was caught on the very day his daughter was born.
He wants to pass this Pokémon on to his daughter when she is old enough and if she develops an interest in Pokémon GO. This way, she will have a Pokémon with her birthday as the capture date.
What kind of Pokémon is it? The Pokémon that the new father was able to catch for his daughter is actually a Mareep. While the regular evolutions of this Electric-type monster – Flaaffy and Ampharos – are not particularly strong nowadays, Mega Ampharos is still among the best attackers in Pokémon GO.
