With update 0.57.2, over 80 Pokémon from the 2nd generation and new features in Pokémon GO have been unlocked.
Accompanied by a huge hype, the release of Pokémon GO in the summer of 2016 occurred. Initial server issues hampered the gameplay of the mobile hit many trainers were waiting for. The game has been prepared for its largest update yet over the last few months by stabilizing the platform, removing features, and increasing server capacity. From now on, trainers have access to over 80 Pokémon from the 2nd generation in addition to the first generation, which they can encounter and catch in the game.
New Pokémon with patch 0.57.2 for Android and 1.27.2 for iOS!
Hoothoot, Cyndaquil, and Chikorita are just three of the over 80 new Pokémon from Gold and Silver. Niantic says: “The world of Pokémon GO has expanded.” Many Pokémon that you originally could find in the Johto region are now active for you in the game.
To celebrate this, the developers have activated some bonuses for you:
- Lures last significantly longer than normal until February 19th
- Pokémon Storage Plus on sale
- 58 shopping centers offer space for up to 15 gyms and stops – Catch Pokémon in the warmth
With these bonuses, nothing stands in the way of an extensive Pokémon hunt. Coinciding with the weekend, Niantic released the new Pokémon so that as many trainers as possible can seize the early stage and begin their adventures.
The new “Pokémon GO” update brings significant changes to the game. In addition to the new monsters, there are new functions and features that you can use in the game.
