The new Pokémon GO update 0.75.1 for Android and 1.45.1 for iOS addresses bugs in the game.
With a new update for Pokémon GO, the developers at Niantic aim to improve the game. The latest update focuses on several bugs that have increasingly appeared in recent days and weeks. To activate the bug fixes, trainers on Android devices need to install update 0.75.1 and trainers on iOS devices need to install update 1.45.1.
There are no signs of new features or new Pokémon in the update yet.
Pokémon GO Update – Changes
The update does not contain any drastic changes that would shake up the game. The developers mainly want to address bugs that were present in the game before the update.
In the update description in the iOS App Store, it states regarding update 1.45.1 that “minor bug fixes” have been made. However, most players and trainers are not satisfied with these descriptions. They want to know what unannounced changes they can expect.
But there are no surprising news here either. The data miners from Pokémon GO Hub have closely examined the update APK. No significant changes were noted.
Although there are 162 changed files, since these only relate to resolutions, it is not a cause for concern. It seems that update 0.75.1 was really just released for bug fixing.
GO Plus bug fixed?
There have been issues for several weeks with the “Pokémon GO Plus” gadget and the connection to Pokémon GO. This affects both iOS and Android players. Now many players were excited about the new update and hoped for a fix for the bug.
However, there is already disappointment here: User Lorren13 writes on Reddit that the update has not helped with the GO Plus bugs. Other trainers confirm this. So far, we know that Niantic is working on a solution to the problem.
