The new Pokémon GO update 0.75.0 is the biggest update in terms of bug fixes since the game’s release. We will show you which issues are to be addressed.
Quite surprisingly, some trainers found the update 0.75.0 in the Play Stores yesterday. The update is currently rolling out and will be unlocked gradually for different players.
Pokémon experts from TheSilphRoad have focused on data mining regarding the changes in the updates. It quickly became apparent that the developers aimed to address many bugs with this patch. We will show you which ones here.
Patch 0.75.0 / 1.45.0 APK Data Mining
As soon as a new update is available via APK, experts use their software tools to examine all changes in the updates. Often, developers hide details and do not disclose everything that a new update entails.
When data mining update 0.75.0, it is noticeable that it is the largest bug-fixing update since the release of the game. While the developers are likely already working on the next major updates, they are currently focusing on the stability of the game.
In recent weeks, trainers have noticed many bugs and issues that are to be fixed now.
Missing Icons in PokéDex
The last update (0.73.0) introduced a bug in Pokémon GO that caused the icons of Pokémon in the PokéDex to disappear. In the new update 0.75.0, some fixes have been implemented to address these PokéDex issues.
A lot of code has been rewritten and various lines completely removed. In the coming days, it should become clear whether these changes can actually resolve the issues.
Invisible Avatar / Incorrect Textures
Trainers have already reported that the texture issues in the new patch 0.75.0 have not yet been fully resolved. However, there are solutions in the update that at least make the bug appear less frequently. This should prevent interesting images like in the following screenshot from occurring as often:
Arena Attack Animations
This bug fix seems to eliminate the attack animations that were incorrectly displayed under an avatar. Players appeared to have superpowers because of this. You’ll probably have to say goodbye to the Clark Kent power.
Raid Zoom Bug
In the code, experts found lines indicating a bug fix for arena intros. Sometimes a sequence was played twice, zooming into the game.
Raid Lobby Bug
The frequency at which a raid lobby is rendered has been changed. The developers may have made these changes to more accurately determine the number of lobby players. Initial reports indicate that the issues have not completely disappeared yet.
New Debugging Tools
With new tools, Niantic apparently aims to avoid or combat future issues. These affect arena battles and the game’s performance.
The experts from TheSilphRoad emphasize once again that this is one of the largest changes concerning improved game performance.
We hope that you will all receive the update in the coming days and benefit from the bug fixes.
Hopefully, there will be fewer bugs in the game by the time the third generation is released. We have already thought about which monsters might spawn only in certain parts of the world. Regional Pokémon of the 3rd Gen in Pokémon GO – Our suggestions
