The new Pokémon GO update 0.75.0 is currently rolling out and brings some changes to the game. Bug fixes and improved Pokémon searches are part of the update.
The Pokémon GO version has been surprisingly updated. The update is still rolling out and has only appeared in a few Play Stores so far. Some Android users in Germany have already been able to download the update.

Patchnotes 0.75.0 / 1.45.0 – Patch Notes
The official patch notes for the update were posted by the user Myrypla on Reddit. As a German Android user, he is one of the first to receive the update. This happened around 6:00 PM German time on September 12th. The following patch notes are announced with the update:
New features
- Items earned by spinning Gym PokéStops and completing Raid battles are now displayed in the journal.
- Improved search function for the Pokémon collection using the words “Defender” and “Legendary”.
- A bug has been fixed where Pikachu’s hats disappeared in the game.
- A bug has been fixed where some images were not displayed when scrolling through the PokéDex.
- Various bug fixes and performance updates.
Data Mining Results
Shortly after the announcement of the patch, experts began data mining. Many searches are still active while we are writing this article. We will keep you updated on further changes and update this article accordingly.
As confirmed by PokémonGOHub, the filtering of Pokémon in the PokéDex is now working correctly. The word “Defender” reportedly searches for Pokémon currently defending Gyms.
