The new update for Pokémon GO version 0.111.4 is on its way. Dataminers have thoroughly examined the APK – We show you the results.
When will the update arrive? For some of you, update 0.111.4 for Android is already available. It is currently rolling out and will be released gradually for each of you.
This is included:
- Eevee attack
- Changes to the quest system
- GO Plus improvements
Eevee attack “Last Resort” now in the game – With video
Preparation for community event: As you may have heard, the Community Day will take place over two days next weekend. The special Pokémon on these days is Eevee. It can only learn the exclusive attack “Last Resort” during the event.
After the update in the game: The update will bring the Last Resort attack into the game. The sound effects and animations were not present before this patch. You can see how the attack looks in Pokémon GO in the following video:
No Gen-4 evolutions yet: Many players assumed after the Gen-4 leak that the Community Day with Eevee would be used to unlock the new Eevee evolutions Leafeon and Glaceon. However, there is no sight of that in the update 0.111.4.
Changes to quests in Pokémon GO
New quest types: The research tasks (quests) have become an important part of Pokémon GO. Niantic continues to work on it and has now added the following research categories:
- SEND_GIFT
- EVOLVE_INTO_POKEMON
So tasks related to sending gifts and Pokémon evolutions.
Several days in a row: A new condition for quests has also been introduced in Pokémon GO.
- DAYS_IN_A_ROW
So “days in a row”. There are also several changes in the code that feature a day counter. In the future, there could be research tasks that require you to perform an action for several days in a row.
Additional conditions: Two more conditions have emerged:
- IS_MINOR
- EXCLUSIVE_QUESTS
Quests for younger players: With the Minor condition, it is assumed that these are specifically for younger players. Players under 13 cannot use the trading feature. You may receive special trading quests that will then be filtered out for these accounts.
Uncertainty about exclusive quests: What exactly the Exclusive quests entail is still unclear. Dataminers will closely monitor this area now.
Improvements to Pokémon GO Plus
Many issues: In recent versions of Pokémon GO, there have often been problems with the GO Plus. Now there is a range of new features to monitor errors. This allows the developers to improve the GO Plus more targeted in the future.
