Today, on August 26, there are login issues with the Pokémon GO Trainer Club. This service is frequently affected by login errors and has been problematic again since this afternoon. Are you able to get into the game?
Update August 26 – 19:00: Trainers can log in to the PTC again. Apparently, the issues have been resolved.
Update August 26 – 17:30: Niantic states that they are aware of the issues and are working on a solution. We hope that you can log into the game without problems soon.

Pokémon GO PTC Down on August 26
Complaints on Facebook, Reddit, and other social networks have been growing louder in the past hours. The Pokémon Trainer Club has not been working properly since around 13:00 and is causing connection issues. Trainers cannot get into the game.
Players logging in with their Google accounts are not facing any issues this time. The connection problems only occur with PTC accounts. During the last major outage, Niantic already stated that this service should work more reliably soon.
There has been no official notification that the developers are addressing the current issues from August 26. However, they may already be working on a solution and will only inform once the server errors have been fixed. We will update this article if Niantic comments on the current situation.
Problems also with Update 0.71.0: The new update 0.71.0 was supposed to be rolled out, but this has now been halted. The first trainers were able to download the update and found that it causes significant latency issues. Therefore, Niantic is halting the rollout of Update 0.71.0.
