The legendary Pokémon Dialga will soon disappear from raids in Pokémon GO. You should take your chance to catch the monster, as having a strong Dialga is definitely worth it.
When do the Dialga raids end? On March 28, at 9 PM, Dialga will temporarily leave. The Pokémon was in raids for about a month and will then disappear.
You definitely should go raiding again and catch a strong Dialga, as the legendary Pokémon is a strong dragon alternative in the meta.
That’s why you should go raiding
Why Dialga is worth it: The legendary Pokémon is a very strong dragon attacker. Additionally, it is a Steel type and withstands other dragon attacks much better.
You can use Dialga very effectively in battles against dragons and take very little damage in return.
What comes after Dialga? Giratina has already been announced as the next raid boss. From 9 PM on March 28, you can catch its Altered Form, and then from April 2 its Origin Form.
For us German players, Giratina will only be available on March 29, as there will be no more raids after 9 PM.
When will Dialga return? Typically, it takes weeks or months before a legendary Pokémon returns as a raid boss. So if you don’t have a Dialga yet, you should hurry, as there won’t be any chances to catch it for a while.
How many people do you need for Dialga? If you have 3 strong players, you can defeat Dialga even in a trio. If you’re around level 30, you should have 5-6 players. However, there are players who have already beaten it with just two.
If you have the right counters, it shouldn’t be a problem even at lower levels.
We’ve compared Dialga with Palkia and explained which Pokémon is more useful:
