In Pokémon GO, the raid bosses of levels 1-5 have changed. You can now encounter Tentoxa, Kyogre, and other water monsters.
On Thursday, June 7, the Water Festival began in Pokémon GO. You can now find water-type monsters everywhere – even in the gyms. The bosses have changed at difficulty levels 1-5. We will show you which ones are currently active and how to easily defeat them.

Raid Bosses at the Water Event in Pokémon GO
Why are there new bosses? The developers at Niantic have gotten into the habit of changing the bosses in the gyms to match the event. For example, during the last Rock Event, Mogelbaum and Aerodactyl were present. Since the water event is active now, you can find more water-type monsters as bosses in raid battles.
On Reddit, players are diligently compiling their observations and confirming that the following list of raid bosses can currently be battled in Pokémon GO:

Bosses as Shinies: There are two of the new water bosses that also come in shiny versions – Muschas and Kyogre. Shiny Kyogre is also said to have a 100% catch rate, ensuring it won’t escape from you.
And where is Lapras? Many players hoped for Lapras as a raid boss and are now surprised. While you won’t find it as a raid boss, it will hatch from the special 2KM eggs that are now active. All bonuses from the Water Festival in Pokémon GO can be read here.
