Some Pokémon have indeed brought new attacks, but these attacks do not make the monster stronger or more interesting for the meta. However, we will show you the Pokémon that have gained from this change and are now significantly stronger.

Biggest winner: Roserade
Here’s why Roserade has gained so much: Roserade can now learn the attack Strauchler. This attack already caused a stir during the Hoenn event with Knilz. Strauchler is one of the best grass-type attacks in the game, making Roserade the best attacker of its type.
Roserade now has an attack with multiple charge bars, allowing it to unleash its charge attack much faster. Previously, Roserade was often defeated before it could use its previous attack Solar Beam at all.
That’s why Roserade remains a winner in the future: In terms of damage per second, Roserade is currently the best grass-type Pokémon. Even a Gewaldro, which can learn a potential Community Day Flora Statue, does not come close to Roserade. So, it will remain the best grass attacker in the near future – all thanks to the attack Strauchler.
A big winner: Kramshef
This is what the new attack does with Kramshef: Kramshef now has access to the attack Himmelsfeger, a flying-type attack. This attack is the best flying attack in the game. As a result, Kramshef now has the best DPS (damage per second) of all flying Pokémon. It can now compete with the current attackers Rayquaza and Lavados.
The downside of Kramshef has always been its stamina, which is now compensated for by a high DPS value.
An arena winner: Machomei
This is what makes Machomei even better now: Machomei is primarily a Pokémon used in arenas against Heiteira or Relaxo. However, it can now learn the rock-type attack Steinhagel.
This makes Machomei even more interesting in arenas: If you now teach Machomei two charge attacks, namely Wuchtschlag and Steinhagel, it will counter not only Heiteira, but also Pokémon like Garados or Dragoran in the arenas. So you can easily take a Machomei battle team into an arena and not only take down the classic defenders.
More good winners
- Donphan: This Pokémon can now finally learn a ground-type quick attack. With Lehmschelle it now has a double move set of ground type. Although it does not come close to the best ground Pokémon, it has become significantly stronger and serves as an alternative to Groudon and Rihornior.
- Relaxo: This strong arena defender can now learn Wutanfall. This charge attack is better than Rammboss, which it could previously learn. Wutanfall is not as good as Bodyslam, but this attack can no longer be learned by Relaxo. To make a good defender even stronger, you should teach it Wutanfall – provided it does not already know Bodyslam.
- Ho-Oh: The legendary Pokémon can now learn Kraftreserve. This attack can be of any type and is randomly assigned to the Pokémon. If the Kraftreserve is fire type, then Ho-Oh finally becomes a good fire attacker, although it still does not rank among the best. With a grass or flying type Kraftreserve, Ho-Oh also improves. If it does not have these three types, then Kraftreserve is not particularly useful.
- Aerodactyl: This Pokémon now has a double move set of rock type and can learn Steinhagel. This makes it better than before and finally a bit more useful, but it still does not play a major role among rock attackers.
