Rameidon, Tangoloss and Yanmega – How strong are the new Pokémon
This is what it is about: We introduce you to the Pokémon that are most effective in attack. The values of the Pokémon are examined, and a comparison is made with other Pokémon of the same type.
Rameidon
Why Rameidon is good: This Pokémon will become the best Rock attacker in the game. With an attack value of 295, it has the highest value of all non-legendary Pokémon. Additionally, Rameidon can learn the quick move Rock Throw. This gives it an ideal moveset. It replaces Tyranitar as the best attacker of the type.
What do I use Rameidon against? As a Rock attacker, you can use it against Pokémon of types Flying, Ice, Bug, and Fire. In gyms, it is ideal against Dragonite, Gyarados, or Salamence.
How to find Rameidon: Rameidon evolves from Kabuto. You can find this Pokémon in the wild.
Tangoloss
Why Tangoloss is good: This Grass Pokémon not only has a great moveset but also a good defense value. This allows it to withstand a lot in battles. Its solid attack value makes the Pokémon one of the top Grass Pokémon in the game.
What do I use Tangoloss against? With its Grass attacks, it hits types Water, Ground, and Rock very effectively. Monsters like Rhydon or Tyranitar stand no chance in gyms.
How to find Tangoloss: Tangoloss can be developed from Tangela using a Sinnoh Stone. If you don’t have many stones left, you should first use a Sinnoh Stone on Tangela.
Yanmega
Why Yanmega is good: Yanmega will be a true alternative to Pinsir and Scizor. It has comparable values and can also reach nearly 3000 CP. Additionally, it can learn the attack Bug Buzz, making it stronger than its competitors in certain situations. If you don’t have a good Pinsir or Scizor, you should rely on Yanmega.
What do I use Yanmega against? The Bug type is effective against Dark, Psychic, and Grass. If Mewtwo returns in raids, you have a top counter with Yanmega. In gyms, this Pokémon is especially effective against Exeggutor or Tyranitar.
How to find Yanmega: You will evolve this Pokémon from Yanma. You will need a Sinnoh Stone for that. Investing a stone in Yanma is definitely not wrong.
What about Gallade? In terms of CP, Gallade could also be included in this list. However, this Pokémon unfortunately only has very poor attacks, which is why it can’t really compete anywhere. Although it has a pure Psychic moveset, it faces too much competition there.
How strong are the other Pokémon? The other Pokémon do not rise to the top Pokémon. Their values are weak and their CP cannot compete. You should only evolve them for the PokéDex and not invest Stardust.
