Tomorrow is the spotlight hour in Pokémon GO. It features Jigglypuff and comes with bonuses. We will show you all the information.
When does the spotlight hour start? The fourth spotlight hour in July starts on July 22 at 6:00 PM. As always, it ends at 7:00 PM.
Which Pokémon will appear? Jigglypuff! It is a classic Pokémon known for its soothing song. It is a Fairy and Normal type, and its evolution is Wigglytuff.
Is it strong? No. Currently, neither Jigglypuff nor Wigglytuff are really strong in battles.
What bonus is active? You will receive double the amount of candy for Pokémon you send to the professor. This is the typical spotlight bonus for this week. But that’s not all.
Multiple bonuses are active during the spotlight hour
On Tuesday morning at 10:00 AM, another Pokémon GO event will start: The last Hyperbonus will begin and will bring among others the Pokémon Gramokles. Additionally, there are other bonuses active:
- Quadruple XP when catching
- Quadruple stardust when catching
Both bonuses are likely to be active during the spotlight hour as well, effectively bringing three bonuses at once. By the way, you also have an increased shiny chance for Unown U, which you can challenge in raids.
Is the spotlight hour worth it? Unfortunately, the Jigglypuff line isn’t particularly strong. However, you can make good use of the hour to catch a lot of specimens and thus earn plenty of XP and stardust. Also, make sure to take advantage of the sending bonus for Pokémon you have duplicates of but need candy for.
