Anyone who wants to fill their PokéDex in Pokémon GO with Kanto monsters can only do so effectively for a few more hours.
Trainers, the Kanto week in Pokémon GO will end today. The event brings you special bonuses until the evening and causes more monsters from the Kanto region to spawn.
End of the Kanto Week
The Kanto event started on the evening of April 10 in Pokémon GO and was supposed to be active for a week. This means that the event will end today, April 17.
If all goes according to plan, you should be able to take advantage of the event bonuses until 10:00 PM.
As long as the event is still running, you can take advantage of the following bonuses:
- Increased spawns of Pokémon from the 1st generation
- Double candy rewards for all actions (walking with buddy, sending Pokémon, etc.)
- Special offer boxes that are particularly interesting for raiders
- New raid bosses like Snorlax and Aerodactyl
- Lures last 6 hours instead of 30 minutes
Make the most of the event time
The double candy rewards are a reason to make full use of the event. Even if you have already filled your PokéDex with all the monsters from the Kanto region, double candies are, for example, beneficial for trainers who want to perform mass evolutions and thus collect experience points.
Additionally, rare(re) monsters like Magikarp spawn more frequently. In some places, you often find them even without the event, but now they appear much more often.
With the new research in Pokémon GO, you can unlock Mew. This event is excellent for fulfilling the mentioned bonuses. These are the tasks you need to complete for Mew to appear and be caught.
The event is suitable for its bonuses for beginners who want to fill their Dex and researchers aiming for the mystical Pokémon Mew.
The next Community Day in Pokémon GO brings Charmander and these bonuses
