Open gifts again: Today at 10 PM the event ends. So you should breed eggs diligently one more time and open gifts from friends. Because you can only get the 7KM eggs from gifts, which can include Tauros, Porenta, Kangama, and Pantimos. You can find the regional Pokémon in these locations in the wild of Pokémon GO.
Continue to breed after the event ends: Even though the event ends tonight, you can still breed regional Pokémon afterwards. You just need to have received the 7KM eggs in your inventory before the event ends. So fill your inventory with eggs from gifts now and casually breed the regional Pokémon in the coming weeks.
