Now it’s known what bonuses await you at the Stardust event after the Safari Zone in Yokosuka. This should greatly increase your Stardust reserves in Pokémon GO.
If all the goals of the worldwide catch challenge are met, the developers will unlock special Stardust bonuses. These will be active for one week and form the Stardust event.
Niantic has now revealed more details about the event and explains how high the rewards are for various actions in the game. And they are worth it.
Bonuses for the Stardust Event after Japan Safari in Yokosuka
What kind of event? The global challenge by Professor Willow takes place next weekend, on September 1st and 2nd. This challenge is related to the Safari Zone Yokosuka and Japan.
What time? In Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India, the event runs from 07:00 to 23:59 (GMT). As we calculate with GMT+2, the time window for the challenges here should start at 09:00 and end at 01:59.
What tasks? In collaboration, all regions must complete many field researches. In Europe, this totals 5 million. If the different regions reach their goals, the rewards shown in the graphic will be activated shortly after the challenge.These bonuses are available: At first, it was only clear which actions in the game would yield bonuses. Now the developers explained how high these are. Provided that the tasks are fulfilled, the following bonuses are available:
- 3x Stardust for catching Pokémon if the tasks are completed locally in Yokosuka
- 1-hour Stardust pieces if Europe, the Middle East, and Africa collectively complete 5 million research tasks during the event time
- 2x Stardust for hatching eggs if America completes 5 million research tasks during the event time
- 3000 Stardust guaranteed for every raid if the Asia-Pacific region completes 5 million research tasks during the event time
When will the bonuses be available? They will be unlocked after the challenge and will be active from September 3rd at 22:00 until September 10th at 22:00.
Another reward is the Lavados Day on September 8th in Pokémon GO. It will be unlocked when all regions unlock their bonuses. After that, on September 10th, Niantic will reveal more about the Ultra Bonus.
