In Pokémon GO, trainers are searching for Tentacool and Diglett. Where are the two hiding?
These are the Pokémon: Both Pokémon are interesting due to the current Adventure Week event.
- Tentacool makes its debut in Pokémon. It is the land variant of the Gen-1 classic Tentacruel and belongs to the Grass and Ground types. It evolves into Torterra.
- Diglett, on the other hand, is the water version of Diglett. It can evolve into Dugtrio and has been available in Pokémon GO for a while. However, it can now appear as Shiny for the first time.
Both are important Pokémon in the current event. However, they are not easy to find. Some players have such great difficulties finding them that they almost believe they don’t exist (on Reddit).
So: Where are the two hiding? We’ll summarize it for you.
Where do you need to search for Tentacool and Diglett?
Here you can find Tentacool: For Tentacool, it is crucial that you visit the biome “Forests and Green Spaces” – and this is not just a kind of game mode, you actually have to go out with your smartphone and for example go to the local forest. In the city, or at the sea, you don’t need to try.
Here you can find Diglett: Diglett, on the other hand, can be found in the biome “Beaches and Waters”. This works well at the sea, but also at local lakes. It is more difficult at rivers, as a Diglett spawn does not seem to be very likely there so far.
Tips for both Pokémon: Sometimes it is not so easy to recognize which biome you are currently in. One tip: You can better identify the biomes by looking at the backgrounds of the wild Pokémon you catch. If a beach is visible in the background, you have a good chance of finding Diglett nearby.
Additionally, you can use the Pokémon radar in the Pokédex and the “Nearby” display to track down both Pokémon. However, the first works only if you have already seen some specimens.
Especially with Diglett, you should plan for longer searches, as this is not a commonly occurring spawn – even in the right biomes.
