From when can you switch? Niantic states that the start time for the team switch is February 26. An item will be available in the shop at 10 PM that will allow you to switch.
How does the change work? To switch, you must purchase the Team Medallion in the in-game shop. Only with this item is a switch possible.
How much does the team switch cost? This item costs 1000 Pokécoins, which is approximately 10 euros. After purchasing the medallion, you can use the item and perform the team switch.
How often can you switch teams? You cannot switch teams daily. In 365 days, a switch is only possible once. If you choose a different team, you must swear loyalty to that team for at least a year.
You must note: If you still have Pokémon in gyms that you need for gold, you should wait a bit. When you switch teams, all your Pokémon will return to you. You will not sit in any gyms anymore. You also will not receive coins for their return.
