In the Pokémon GO shop, you will find two new boxes and Super Incubators. Niantic has already adjusted the price of the large box.
For over a day, the global catch event has been running, rewarding trainers with Porenta spawns around the world. But only if the community catches 3 billion Pokémon together.
In line with the event, there are now new boxes in the shop that will supply you with many items. We present the new packages to you here.
Prices and Contents of the Special Box and the Hyperbox
The new packages in the shop give you the opportunity to stock up on Lucky Eggs, Premium Raid Passes, Lures, and Balls. This time there is a choice between two packages. Additionally, the popular Super Incubators are currently on sale for 200 coins.
Special Box – Contents
The special box is the cheaper box of the current offer. It costs 380 PokéCoins. Inside, you will find:
- 20x Great Ball
- 6x Lucky Egg
- 1x Premium Raid Pass
- 4x Lure Module
Hyperbox – Contents
The hyperbox costs more than double that of the special box. The price has been reduced from originally 1480 PokéCoins to 880 PokéCoins. You will find inside:
- 30x Ultra Ball
- 16x Lucky Egg
- 4x Premium Raid Pass
- 8x Lure Module
Did you purchase the hyperbox at the full price of 1480 PokéCoins? No problem, Niantic will make it right. NianticGeorge explains on Reddit that the initial price was incorrect and 880 coins are correct. Players who paid 1480 coins should contact Niantic. Here is the contact form on nianticlabs.com
How long will the boxes remain?
The official Pokémon GO account on Twitter confirmed that the offer boxes will remain in the shop until December 4, 2017.
Lots of Experience Points through New Boxes
The contents of the new boxes clearly show that they are particularly beneficial for trainers who want to collect lots of experience points during the global catch event.
Event bonuses include double the amount of experience points and extended Lures. In combination with a Lucky Egg, you will therefore receive four times the amount of experience points. And the Lures now last for 6 hours instead of 30 minutes.
After initial difficulties, Raids now also give double experience points. These are good conditions to attract and catch many Pokémon to boost your trainer level.
How does the global catch event work? When do the bonuses come and how long will they last in Pokémon GO? You can find out everything about the event in our Catch Challenge Guide
