The next Community Day in Pokémon GO has been hinted at. And this raises hope for some trainers.
On the official channel of Pokémon GO on X, a video was published hinting at the Pokémon of the next Community Day.
In the just 9 seconds long video, many green bushes can be seen, as well as towards the end the tail of a Pokémon, which can be clearly identified through this.
This is Mankey, the Pokémon from the first generation, which will take center stage in the next Community Day. This triggers mixed feelings in the community.
Hope and Frustration in the Community
When does the Community Day take place? Before the start of the current season in Pokémon GO, the dates of the Community Days were announced.
Since the Community Days in September and October have already taken place, the event with Mankey will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2024.
What other information is known? So far, apart from the Pokémon and the date, no further official information is known. However, it is to be expected that you will receive strong bonuses on this Community Day as well, as is the case with every Community Day.
Why should you not evolve Mankey right now? The Pokémon that are in the spotlight during a Community Day receive an exclusive move during the event.
The last evolution of Mankey, Primeape, was one of the strongest monsters for the leagues until the big update in the battle league. Since the update, however, the Pokémon has lost a lot of significance.
This could change if Primeape receives a move during the Community Day that makes the monster stronger in the battle leagues. Therefore, you should wait until the event before evolving your Mankey.

What does the community say about this? Some trainers are annoyed by the announcement, as this Pokémon has already been found in many events recently.
