The next event of the Ultra Bonus 2019 in Pokémon GO begins. Featuring regional Pokémon from 7 km eggs and Deoxys. We will show you in the guide everything you need to know about the event.
What kind of event is this? Because trainers participated so diligently in the Ultra event and completed objectives, Niantic is gradually unlocking new bonuses. This is divided into three weeks. The first week started with the Johto Journey featuring Entei, Raikou, Suicune, two new Shinys, and new raid bosses.
Now week 2 is approaching and brings you new reasons to play Pokémon GO.
When does it start? On September 9 at 10:00 PM German time
What rewards are there? Regional Pokémon (Kanto) from 7 km eggs, Deoxys for the first time outside of EX Raids, double effective incubators
In week 3, you will encounter Generation 5 in Pokémon GO.
Kangaskhan and Co. as Shinys from 7 km eggs
Why is it worth it? For collectors of rare Pokémon, this event will be a celebration. Those who diligently hatch eggs can obtain Pokémon that are generally not available for trainers to catch here. From the eggs, there are:
- Swablu
- Kangaskhan
- Mr. Mime
- and Tauros
If you are lucky, you might even receive the shiny form of these special Pokémon. In September 2018, trainers also hatched these regional Pokémon from eggs, but they could not be Shiny last year.

How can you get the Pokémon from the eggs? These regional Pokémon hatch from 7 km eggs, which you will receive after the start of the event, that is, from September 9 at 10:01 PM. If you had the 7 eggs in your inventory or incubator before the event, these event Pokémon are not included.
It is helpful that incubators are double effective during the event period, so you can hatch as many monsters as possible.
How long will these Pokémon stay in the eggs? The chance of these regionals from the 7 eggs remains in the game even after week 2. Until the end of week 3, on September 23 at 10:00 PM, this egg bonus will remain active.
Deoxys in normal Raids
What changes in raids? During week 2, you will encounter all forms of Deoxys outside of EX Raids. You do not need an invitation to battle and catch this opponent. After Deoxys, one of these candidates may appear as an EX Raid boss.
So if you missed this monster in the EX Raids, you can now take on other trainers in regular T5 Raids.
In the other raids, you will encounter monsters that you can use well to counter Deoxys. The best counters against all forms of Deoxys in Pokémon GO.
