The event with the starter Pokémon at Pokémon GO is now active. In addition, there are now bronze, silver, and gold boxes, the contents of which we will show you.
The second phase of the holiday event at Pokémon GO has begun. The chance to encounter the starter Pokémon Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander, and their evolutions in the wild has now increased. Additionally, there are new gift boxes that you can buy in the shop. Furthermore, the bonuses from the first event are active in this phase, which give you a higher chance of hatching baby Pokémon.
Event at Pokémon GO – New gift boxes in the shop
From now on, the chance of finding starter Pokémon and their evolutions as wild Pokémon has increased. These are Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Squirtle, Wartortle, Blastoise, as well as Charmander, Charmeleon, and Charizard.
In the in-game shop, you will now no longer find the old boxes, but three new ones. These new boxes will be available until January 3rd.
- In the bronze box, there are 100 Poké Balls and 8 Lures. This box costs 460 coins.
- The silver box offers you 8x Incense, 8 Lucky Eggs, and 8 Lures. This box costs 980 coins.
- From the gold box, you will get 50 Ultra Balls, 25x Incense, 25 Lucky Eggs, and 16 Lures. This box costs 2480 coins.
Lures are now supposed to last 60 minutes instead of 30 minutes. Additionally, some players confirmed on Reddit that you can now attract the new starter Pokémon with Incense. This is probably why there is so much Incense in the silver and gold boxes.
Pokémon GO: Last update in December brings New Year’s loading screen
Since this evening, there is also a new loading screen at Pokémon GO. The Pokémon that just a few days ago were decorating and admiring the Christmas tree are now looking forward to the New Year and watching a fireworks display.
A Pokémon trading feature with public transport? This is how it could work.
