The next Spotlight Hour is coming up in Pokémon GO. This time you can expect Roselia and a bonus on experience points.
What kind of event is this? The Spotlight Hour is a small event that takes place every week on Tuesday. Here you can expect at least one Pokémon that takes center stage and appears in large numbers during the event.
Additionally, there is a bonus active during each Spotlight Hour that lasts for the duration of the event.
Roselia will be the star of the next Spotlight Hour. This Pokémon comes from Generation 3 and has the types Grass and Poison. It is the evolution of Budew and the pre-evolution of Roserade.
Spotlight Hour on January 14 – Start and Bonuses
When does the Spotlight Hour start? As usual, the Spotlight Hour begins at 6:00 PM and ends 60 minutes later at 7:00 PM.
What bonuses are active? In this Spotlight Hour, you will receive a bonus on experience points. If you catch Pokémon during the event, you will get double the amount of experience points. It doesn’t matter which Pokémon you catch.
If you also use Lucky Eggs, you will even receive four times the amount of experience points for catching Pokémon.
Can you catch Shiny Roselia? Yes, if you are lucky, you can also catch the Shiny variant of Roselia during the event.
Is the Spotlight Hour worth it? If you evolve Roselia into Roserade, you will get a rather strong Grass attacker. If you have deficits in this area, you could use the event for that.
As a Grass attacker, Roserade can also be found in our list of best attackers in Pokémon GO.
If you want to use Roselia and its evolution in the Battle League, you will be disappointed. You should better rely on other Pokémon for that.
If you are currently accumulating experience points, you can use the event to get a little boost.
