In Pokémon GO, the next Spotlight Hour is waiting for you. Alongside Wolly, you will also find a bonus on experience points.
What kind of event is this? The Spotlight Hour is an event that takes place every Tuesday. You can expect a Pokémon that is in the spotlight of the event and appears in very high numbers.
Additionally, there is a bonus that is active during the event.
In the next Spotlight Hour, which runs on September 3, 2024, Wolly will be the star of the hour. The Pokémon from the 8th generation is of Normal type and can evolve into Zwollock.
Spotlight Hour on September 3 – Start and Bonuses
When does the Spotlight Hour start? As every Tuesday, the Spotlight Hour starts at 6:00 PM and runs until 7:00 PM.
What bonuses are active? If you evolve Pokémon while the Spotlight Hour is active, you will receive double the amount of experience points. It doesn’t matter which Pokémon you evolve.
Can you catch Shiny Wolly? Yes. The Shiny variant of Wolly is making its debut in the current event “GO for Broke” and is thus also found in today’s Spotlight Hour.
Is the Spotlight Hour worth it? If you want to use Wolly and its evolution Zwollock in raids, you will be disappointed. Both Pokémon are not among the best attackers in Pokémon GO.
In the battle leagues, at least Zwollock can position itself reasonably. It takes a place in the lower midfield of the top attackers in both the Super and Hyper leagues and finds itself in both leagues at position 73 of the ranking on pvpoke.com.
If you have Pokémon that have been waiting for a long time to be evolved, you can make good use of the event for that. With double the amount of experience points when evolving Pokémon, you can grab a small bonus.
