Pokémon GO celebrates the solstice with you and rewards players with great rewards like double stardust.
The developers of Pokémon GO are preparing, like us, for the upcoming cool autumn nights in the northern hemisphere. Good reason to launch an in-game event again. Many of you will now think, “Oh man, it was about time. After all those safari events, something should finally be there for everyone.”
Here are the bonuses you can expect at the solstice event in Pokémon GO
Pokémon GO Equinox 2017 Event
In a few days, the solstice event (original: Equinox) will start in Pokémon GO. It starts on September 22 at 10:00 PM. You have until October 2 October 3 at 10:00 PM to snag cool bonuses. After a server outage, the event was extended by 24 hours. Here, Niantic is particularly generous!
- When catching Pokémon or hatching eggs, you get double the amount of stardust!
- Also, you should visit many PokéStops while exploring the surroundings. There, special 2km eggs are waiting for you. These have the chance to hatch strong Pokémon that were frequently seen at the last safari events.
- There is a chance of Chansey, Mareep and Larvitar “and others” from the 2km eggs.
- In the in-game shop, there are also new packages containing items like lucky eggs, lures, and the brand new super incubator.
- The super incubator can hatch eggs at 1.5 times the speed.
But these are not all the bonuses you can take advantage of during the solstice fest in Pokémon GO.
Triple Experience in Pokémon GO
If you register a new Pokémon in the PokéDex during the event, you will receive triple experience points for it. So strike now with the legendary beasts. If you’re lucky, you’ll also get triple experience points for the new beast that you can catch in Germany after the rotation on September 30.
