Today, on 20.6, there are connection problems with Pokémon GO. Server downtimes and issues with the PTC have been occurring since last night. What is the server status?
Yesterday, Niantic announced a huge update for Pokémon GO that will significantly revamp the arenas. The excitement among trainers was considerable, and the plans for the changes received positive feedback from the community.
However, since last night, there have been problems with the Pokémon GO servers. Players trying to log in through the PTC often have no connection to the game.
Update 20.06. 21:00:
Niantic has announced on Reddit that they are taking a close look at the issues with the PTC login. The team will roll out a fix for all affected devices and players in the coming hours.
They are also aware that these issues with the PTC occur frequently. Therefore, they are looking for a solution to eliminate these problems in the long term.
In the coming hours, the issues with the Pokémon Trainer Account should hopefully be resolved.
Pokémon GO Login Issues
The login problems in Pokémon GO began on the night of 19.6 to 20.6. Trainers are sometimes unable to log in or are experiencing issues with GPS signals and other features in the game.
Players logging in through the Pokémon Trainer Club (PTC) are once again affected by these problems. Apparently, Niantic frequently has issues with this login method, as there were PTC login issues in Pokémon GO just last week.
Since last night, Niantic has been working on the connection problems and looking for a solution. We will update this article as soon as we have new information for you.
