You can soon get a Shiny in Pokémon GO much easier – if you are quick

In Pokémon GO the next Hatch Day has been announced. Here you can obtain a Shiny more easily than usual.

What kind of event is this? Hatch Day is an event that focuses on hatching eggs. In addition to an increased number of certain eggs, there are also additional bonuses that make hatching eggs easier and provide extra rewards.

On Saturday, August 9, 2025, the next Hatch Day will take place from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. And it brings you an increased chance of a Shiny.

Which Pokémon are available during Hatch Day? The focus of the event is on Mampfaxo, the Normal-type Pokémon from Generation 4. It has an evolution, Relaxo, that has existed since Generation 1.

You can obtain the monster from 2 km eggs during the event. If you hatch it, you also have an increased chance of receiving a Shiny Mampfaxo.

What bonuses are available during the event? In addition to the increased Shiny chance for Mampfaxo, the following bonuses are available during the event:

• Mampfaxo appears more frequently in 2 km eggs
• double amount of candies when hatching eggs
• increased chance to receive 2 km eggs at PokéStops
• halved distance for hatching eggs (starting from Thursday, August 7, 2025 at 10:00 AM)

Are there limited research tasks? Yes, there are also 2 limited research tasks during the event. There is both a free and a paid version.

In the free version, you will receive an incubator and 5,000 experience points.

If you purchase the paid version for $1.99 (approximately 2 €), you will receive double the amount of stardust for hatching eggs during the event. You will also receive 1 star piece, 2 super incubators, and additional rewards.

Both research tasks end along with the end of the event on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
