The Rocket bosses Cliff, Arlo, and Sierra are introducing new monsters in Pokémon GO. And the remaining Rocket grunts have different Pokémon with them.
These are the Rocket bosses: Cliff, Arlo, and Sierra are kind of mid-bosses that you need to defeat on your way to Giovanni. You can find them using the Rocket Radar. The battles against the three are not that easy.
To reach them, you need to craft the Rocket Radar. You can achieve this by defeating several Rocket grunts. After each battle against Team GO Rocket, you can catch one of your opponents’ Shadow Pokémon. And there are new opportunities here.
These Cryptos are now with Team GO Rocket
These new Pokémon are part of the bosses: The page “Serebii.net” reports a change in the Cryptos. Some players have already found new Shadow Pokémon on Reddit. In the case of the bosses, the following monsters are involved:
- Arlo now has Shadow Flunkifer
- Sierra is using Shadow Tanhel
- Cliff sends Shadow Pinsir into battle
You can also catch and purify these Pokémon after the battle. The Shadow Pokémon of the Rocket bosses also come in Shiny versions.
These Pokémon are with the grunts: The Shadow Pokémon of the Rocket grunts have also changed. Now you can face the following monsters in their Shadow variants:
- Vulpix
- Vulnona
- Owei
- Kokowei
- Amonitas
- Amoroso
- Traunfugil
- Kanivanha
- Tohaido
If you manage to defeat enough grunts and Rocket bosses, you can confront Giovanni. The leader currently has Shadow Raikou.
