The events in Pokémon GO continue with a specific monster type. This Thursday, the Adventure Week begins, which offers many bonuses and rewards for you. You’ll find Rock-type monsters more frequently during the event, and you can likely expand your collection with monsters like Omanyte or Kabuto and their evolutions.
Adventure Week – Rock Event in Pokémon GO with Rock-type Pokémon
As the developers announced this afternoon, on May 16th, we can expect the next event in Pokémon GO this week, which favors certain monster types. Behind us are already the Water Festival and the Plant Event. Next up is Rock-type Pokémon.
This Thursday, May 18th, at around 10:00 PM (1:00 PM PDT), the Adventure Week in Pokémon GO will start. Apparently, the developers listened to the feedback about the Plant Event, where the short duration of the event was criticized. Because the Adventure Week runs until Thursday, May 25th, at around 10:00 PM. A whole week to enjoy the cool bonuses. This time, there are even discounts in the shop.
The following bonuses and rewards are available for you during the Rock Event:
- Every PokéStop you visit during the event will provide you with more items
- To ensure you can catch enough Pokémon, there is 50% off Poké Balls in the in-game shop
- Your buddy Pokémon seem to be excited about the event as they are finding candies four times as fast
- In the wild, you’ll encounter Rock-type Pokémon more frequently! For example, that’s Omanyte, Kabuto, and their evolutions.
- In the event announcement, the developers add: “Stay alert; you might even find a Pteranodon!”
