What kind of event is this? The Spotlight Hour is a 60-minute event that takes place every Tuesday. It brings you at least one featured Pokémon, as well as a bonus.
In the Spotlight Hour on November 11, 2025, Bubungus awaits you. The Pokémon is from the 7th generation and has the types Grass and Fairy. It can evolve into Lamellux.
Spotlight Hour on November 11, 2025 – Start and Bonuses
When does the Spotlight Hour start? Like every week, the event starts at 6:00 PM. It ends again at 7:00 PM, after 60 minutes.
What bonus is active? If you evolve Pokémon during the Spotlight Hour, you will receive double the amount of experience points.
Can you catch Shiny Bubungus? Yes, with a bit of luck, you can also get the Shiny variant of the Pokémon. However, the chance is not increased during the Spotlight Hour.
Is the Spotlight Hour worth it? If you’re hoping for a strong attacker from the event, you will be disappointed. Neither Bubungus nor its evolution is particularly suited for the battle league or raids.
However, Bubungus is one of the Pokémon that generally give you more stardust per catch. For every caught specimen, you receive 500 stardust. If you additionally use a star piece, you will get even 750 stardust for each catch. Due to the number of Bubungus spawning during the event, you can earn a nice sum.
Additionally, you can take advantage of the event bonus if you want to evolve some Pokémon anyway, and thus gain extra experience points.
