Are you annoyed by the current issues with the Pokémon GO-Plus gadget? Don’t worry, Niantic is already working on a solution for the slow operation.
Many users of iOS 11 devices are complaining that there are currently issues with the Pokémon GO Plus gadget. The GO Plus is supposed to assist trainers while playing by making captures and spinning PokéStops easier. However, due to the new iOS update 11, annoying delays have occurred.
The developers at Niantic are aware of this problem and are already working on a solution.
Pokémon GO Plus: Vibrating takes too long
For a few days now, trainers have been complaining that it now takes significantly longer to catch a Pokémon or collect items from a Stop with the Pokémon GO Plus.
The reason for this is that the “alarm” of the Pokémon GO Plus can only be canceled after it has vibrated/blinked three times. Before the iOS 11 update, this could be done without a minimum number of vibrations.

Now there is good news. Niantic has read the feedback from fans (which has actually been present since the beta of iOS 11) and is aware of the issues. On the official website, the team explains that they are working on a solution.
We are aware of the issue regarding the Pokémon GO Plus for Apple devices with iOS 11. The problem is that the Pokémon GO Plus accessory does not register a button press until the LED indicator blinks three times. We are working on a solution to this problem.
GO Plus problems also on Android
Since the Apple issues, some Android users have also reported on social media saying “We are having issues too!”. Why Niantic only addresses the problems with iOS users and does not address the issues with Android is unclear.
