The Community Day in Pokémon GO is around the corner and Niantic is increasing the chance to get the Sinnoh Stone.
What happened? For the announcement of the Community Day in January, Niantic promised players 5 guaranteed Sinnoh Stones that players can receive during the Community Day.
Now the developer is increasing the number of Sinnoh Stones to 10. There is currently a discussion on Reddit regarding whether all these stones are guaranteed. We will show you what is already known.
What Niantic says about the Sinnoh Stones
What is known? On Twitter, Niantic addressed the topic again and wrote: “Fantastic news! During the Pokémon GO Community Days in your region, you can earn five Sinnoh Stones by challenging Team Leaders and five additional Sinnoh Stones by participating in Trainer Battles.”
What does this mean? Now it is being discussed whether the 10 Sinnoh Stones are guaranteed, or if they are just possibilities for one stone.
Update 15.02: Niantic has confirmed via Twitter that you will get 10 guaranteed Sinnoh Stones on Saturday. It doesn’t matter what time you fight. The bonus applies the entire day!
5 of the stones were already guaranteed. Niantic confirmed this on Twitter. You can obtain these from fights with friends. Since they now use the same wording for the 5 stones from Team Leader fights, it can be assumed that these stones are also guaranteed. However, Niantic has not yet confirmed this.
In what timeframe is this valid? On Reddit , many players are writing that the Sinnoh Stones can be collected all day and not just within the three hours of the Community Day.
