Surprisingly, the developers of Pokémon GO have now increased the limits for item storage and Pokémon. The community is responding positively.
What happened? On the evening of November 22, the developers of Pokémon GO unexpectedly announced on social media that they have increased the Pokémon storage limit. Additionally, you can now theoretically carry more items with you.
- You can now carry a maximum of 3,000 Pokémon
- You can now have a maximum of 2,500 items in your inventory
If you want to gradually test these new limits, you still need to purchase the upgrades for Pokémon or item storage. The prices remain the same. For 50 additional Pokémon slots, you pay 200 PokéCoins. For 50 additional item slots, you also pay 200 PokéCoins.
Why is Niantic doing this? An increase in possible Pokémon slots has been long requested. After all, Pokémon GO continuously adds more new Pokémon from various generations that players want to collect. For collectors, there are also additional interesting objects like shinies, which the developers regularly release new variants of into the wild.
This player owns all shinies and lucky Pokémon in the game. They are surely happy that there is now more space.
Since there is now so much to collect and catch, it was really only a matter of time before Pokémon GO would expand the storage.
