In Pokémon GO a new raid hour with Terrakion starts this evening. We provide all the information on start time, counters, and usability.
What happens during the raid hour? This event series takes place regularly on Wednesdays. The current legendary raid boss appears more frequently for one hour.
Tonight, December 4th, everything will revolve around Terrakion again. The legendary Pokémon will be available in raids until December 17th.
What you need to know for the raid hour with Terrakion
When does the raid hour start? The event starts as usual at 6 PM. A legendary egg will appear on every open gym 20 minutes beforehand.
If there are still other raids running just before 7 PM, a legendary raid will also appear there. Excluded are gyms that have just issued EX raid invitations.
The best counters against Terrakion: The legendary Pokémon is vulnerable to 7 types: Fighting, Water, Ground, Psychic, Steel, Fairy, and Grass. The best counters are Mewtwo and Metagross.

How many players are needed: Terrakion can be easily defeated by two players. If you don’t have strong counters yet, you can also defeat Terrakion comfortably with three players, even at level 25.
Is Terrakion useful? The legendary Pokémon is among the best Rock attackers in the game. Only Rampardos deals more damage.
