In Pokémon GO, there are new Raid bosses and the highlight is the return of a rare Bug Pokémon. We show you all the bosses of the Bug event.
Which rare Pokémon is returning? In the current raids, you have the chance to battle Ninjask for the first time. This Bug Pokémon was previously only available through the evolution of Nincada, which is also quite rare, as it can only be irregularly obtained from field research and eggs.
These are the Raid bosses for the Bug event
Besides Ninjask, there are many other Bug Pokémon to battle. The whole thing is rounded off with opportunities for Shinies.

| Raid Level | Pokémon |
| Level-1-Raid (red egg) | Raupy Zirpurze Pionskora Sheinux |
| Level-2-Raid (red egg) | Flunkifer Tannza Wadribie Kokowei Maskeregen |
| Level-3-Raid (yellow egg) | Sichlor Pinsir Machomei Alola-Raichu Pottrott |
| Level-4-Raid (yellow egg) | Absol Ninjask Alola-Knogga Despotar |
| Level-5-Raid (black egg) | Giratina (Origin Form) |
This is the current topic: In line with the Bug event, there are naturally many Bug Pokémon in the raids. For example, you get the chance to encounter Sichlor, which can be Shiny for the first time.
In addition, there are many Shinies that you can obtain from the raids. The following Pokémon can also be encountered as Shiny:
- Raupy
- Sheinux
- Flunkifer
- Tannza
- Sichlor
- Pinsir
- Alola-Raichu
- Alola-Knogga
- Absol
Here’s why Ninjask is so special: This Pokémon appears for the first time in raids. You can obtain its pre-evolution Nincada in the current Bug Quests.
It is quite rare since you cannot find Nincada in the wild, but can only obtain it during specific events from field research or eggs. Now you have the chance to get its evolution in raids directly.
This is the legendary raid: With the Origin Form of Giratina, another form of the legendary Pokémon is also coming. Learn how worthwhile this monster is here.
How long will the Raid bosses stay? They will likely only remain for the Bug event. This event ends on April 9th. Afterwards, the old bosses will return, which will be available throughout April.
Will you be at a Safari Zone in the summer? Apparently, something is starting in Dortmund:
