In Pokémon GO you can now find new offer boxes in the shop again at the beginning of December. But how many coins do you actually save? We show you whether the purchase is worthwhile.
This is why there are new boxes in the shop: Regularly at the beginning of the new month, Niantic also changes the offer boxes in the shop. Now there are new boxes available for the beginning of December.
This time you can find many different, but especially useful items in the boxes. This way you can ideally prepare for the Community Day in December.
How many coins you can save in December 2019
This is how the calculation works: We have compared the prices of the offer boxes with those of an 8-item bundle. The individual price of the items was therefore not taken into account.

How worthwhile the boxes are
Special Box: Normally, you only save about 30% with the special boxes, this time even 40%. However, if you don’t need Lucky Eggs or Lure Modules, you should stay away from the box. That’s the only way to achieve such high savings. Considering Raid Passes and Incubators, there have been more worthwhile special boxes in the past.
Hyper Box: There are again plenty of Raid Passes this time. Additionally, there are items that are quite useful. However, the savings are not very high; there have been better Hyper Boxes before. If you need passes, you can’t go wrong here.
Adventure Box: You can find a total of 18 Incubators here, which means you can hatch a total of 54 eggs. The savings of nearly 60% are solid, but not overwhelming. However, there are no completely useless items here. So making a purchase isn’t a bad idea.
Which box is the most worthwhile? None of the three boxes is really amazing. Looking at the Community Day in December, the Adventure Box is worthwhile. It has enough items for all three bonuses of the event.
What you need to think about: Usually around Christmas in Pokémon GO there are again special offer boxes where you save more than usual.
So it’s not a bad idea to save your coins and wait for good offers during Christmas.
