A new piece of clothing for Pokémon GO is meant to draw attention to important issues in the world. Additionally, the developers officially announce the release of Update 0.75.0 for Android and 1.45.0 for iOS.
After the first players on Android devices have been using the new Update 0.75.0 for days, the official release follows now. This includes version 1.45.0 for iOS devices, which should be available now or in the next hours in the App Store.
With a new T-shirt, the developers want to remind us of global goals.
Pokémon GO – “Global Goals” T-shirt
When you start your Pokémon GO app, you will find a new piece of clothing that is intended to raise awareness of important issues in the world.
- To wear the T-shirt, start the app and click on your avatar in the bottom left corner.
- Then select the “Customize” option below the experience points bar.
- In the “Tops” category, you can select the new T-shirt and then click on “Save” to dress your avatar in it.
Why do we have this T-shirt in Pokémon GO now?
On September 25, 2015, 193 countries agreed on 17 global goals for sustainable development. By achieving these goals, they aim to accomplish three strong objectives over the next 15 years:
- End extreme poverty
- Combat inequality and injustice
- Regulate climate change
The new T-shirt is meant to give you trainers around the world the opportunity to support initiatives that make the world a better place. This includes the Global Goals. Niantic hopes that all trainers will participate and proudly show their support with the T-shirt and raise awareness for the important global goals.
