“CP-Changes” in Pokémon GO have changed the Max CP. We will show you the new maximum combat points of all Pokémon in the game.
Numerous trainers report: “My Pokémon are suddenly stronger! The CP has increased!” What is going on?
On November 21, a surprising change was announced for Pokémon GO, in which the combat points of the Pokémon were adjusted. The developers changed the values for almost every Pokémon. Once weak Pokémon can now become significantly stronger. This is intended to bring more variety to arena battles. In our table, we show you the maximum combat points for each individual Pokémon.
Changed Max CP / Max CP of each Pokémon
The combat points (CP) of your Pokémon indicate how strong they are. Recently, there have been changes to these values, causing Pokémon to be buffed and nerfed. In our table, you will find out how many CP each of your Pokémon can now achieve at level 40. If you are still below level 40, you can use this table to determine the potential strength of your Pokémon.
If you are looking for a specific Pokémon, you can sort this table by Pokédex number or by name. You can also arrange the table by CP. We have listed here the 15 strongest Pokémon, measured by Max CP, for you.
With the changes in CP values, there are now new possibilities in arenas. A larger selection of defenders or attackers provides entirely new tactics for holding or taking over an arena spot. The developers hope that the balance changes will bring more variety. Trainers should also expect that the CP of their favorite Pokémon will be adjusted in the future if the developers are dissatisfied with them.
With a Pokémon GO development calculator, you can find out how high the CP of your Pokémon would be after you evolve them. This way, you can find out if an evolution is worth it before you spend the candies on it. We present one of these development calculators here.
