What kind of event is this? The event named “Magnet Study” will start on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 00:00. It will end on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 23:59.
The focus of the event is mainly on 3 Pokémon that you can encounter with an increased shiny chance. Additionally, there will be different limited-time research tasks and bonuses each day during the event.
All contents of the “Magnet Study”
Which shinies are available in the event? Throughout the entire event, you can benefit from an increased shiny chance for Magnemite, Plusle, and Minun. All 3 Pokémon belong to the electric type, fitting the name of the event.
Just recently, an event started where 4 new legendary shiny Pokémon made their way into the game.
What bonuses are there in the event? In addition to the increased shiny chance, there will conveniently be a bonus on Magnet Lures. These will attract the event Pokémon with a higher probability during the event.
Moreover, each day during the event will feature a different bonus, active from 00:00 to 23:59. They are as follows:
- October 15, 2024: double experience points for catching Pokémon
- October 16, 2024: 1.5 times experience points for winning raid battles
- October 17, 2024: double amount of stardust for catching Pokémon
What limited-time research tasks are available? Each day during the event, there will be a different limited-time research task waiting to be solved by you. These will focus on exploring and catching Pokémon.
You only have one day each to complete and submit the respective limited-time research task. At the change of the day, the limited-time research tasks will expire if you have not finished them.
On October 15, 2024, you will receive encounters with the event Pokémon Plusle, 5,000 experience points and 2,500 stardust as rewards.
The next day, on October 16, 2024, you can obtain 1 Magnet Lure and encounters with Magnemite through the limited-time research.
Finally, on October 17, 2024, you can receive 5,000 experience points, 2,500 stardust, and encounters with Minun in the research.
Field researches: Additionally, there will be field researches during the event where you can encounter the event Pokémon Magnemite, Plusle, and Minun.
