How to get the evolution items and evolution stones
The Sinnoh Stone is another way to obtain evolution items. It is not received in the same way as the other 5. Therefore, we differentiate here between the “old” evolution items and the Sinnoh Stone.
How to get the old evolution items: You receive these items from PokéStops. With a rather low probability, you receive an item when spinning the photo disc.
A guaranteed evolution item can be obtained from the 7-day spin, meaning if you spin PokéStops for 7 consecutive days. Which item it is will be determined randomly.
How to get the Sinnoh Stone: The Sinnoh Stone can be obtained from trainer battles. It can be distributed randomly as a reward, but it is not guaranteed.
Additionally, you can receive this stone from research breakthroughs, which means after completing field research on 7 days. Also without guarantee. The Sinnoh Stone is rare in Pokémon GO.
Can you buy evolution items? There are no evolution items available for purchase in the shop; they can only be obtained through the mentioned ways.
