The new season of Pokémon GO is just around the corner. And it starts directly with a really good event.
The new season in Pokémon GO is named “Precious Paths”. It starts on December 2, 2025 at 10:00 AM and ends on March 3, 2026 at 10:00 AM. It directly brings an event with some strong content: the “Journey to Paldea”.
When does the event take place? The event starts simultaneously with the new season on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 10:00 AM. It runs until the following Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 8:00 PM.
Strong Shinies, new monsters, additional experience
Which new monsters are there? During the event, you can receive Nacli, the Rock monster from the 9th generation, for the first time. For 25 candies, you can evolve it into Naclstack and for 100 candies into Garganacl.
Which monsters have an increased shiny chance? During the event, there is an increased chance to receive Larvitar and Bagon as shiny. Both monsters, with their final evolutions Tyranitar and Salamence, are among the best attackers in Pokémon GO. You can catch both monsters on alternating days.
Which monsters can be found in the wild? The monsters you can encounter in the wild during the event rotate. However, you can continually find Nymble*, Pawmi*, Smoliv*, and, with a bit of luck, the new monster Nacli.

There are expected to be more monsters in the wild that are not yet known. Additionally, the Community Day in December 2025 will take place on December 6 and 7.

Which monsters are there in raids? During the event, the following monsters are waiting for you in 3-star raids:
- Paldean Tauros (Combat Breed) (Iberian Peninsula)
- Paldean Tauros (Blaze Breed) (Eastern Hemisphere)
- Paldean Tauros (Aqua Breed) (Western Hemisphere)
- Bombirdier*
- Dondozo*
If you play from Germany, you can obtain Paldea-Tauros in the Blade Breed. If you want to obtain the other forms, you will need to be invited to remote raids by trainers playing in the respective areas.
Monsters with a * can also appear as shiny.
What bonuses are there in the event? The following bonuses await you in the event:
- double amount of experience points for won raid battles
- double amount of experience points for evolutions
- increased chance for shiny Larvitar and Kindwurm
- Event field research
- Collection challenges
- Paid limited research for $1.99 (approximately €2) with 3,000 Stardust, 2 premium battle passes, and encounters with event monsters like Larvitar, Bagon, and Nacli
