The third stage of the Pokémon GO Summer Tour is currently running as a Safari Zone in Japan. In this final round, trainers can again unlock strong bonuses. As a big reward, the Lugia Day awaits. We will show you what bonuses to expect and how to unlock them.
Lugia Day in Pokémon GO – When does it start?
On September 1st and 2nd, the next global challenge for Pokémon GO trainers takes place. Together around the world, players try to solve tasks and thereby unlock rewards. These rewards will affect Stardust bonuses this time.
The bonuses: If the goals are met, starting on September 3rd at 10:00 PM, there will be more Stardust for hatching eggs and catching Pokémon. In addition, trainers will receive 3000 Stardust for participating in raid battles. You have until September 10th at 10:00 PM to unlock an additional bonus. This will cause Stardust to last for one hour.
That’s already a lot of bonuses you can unlock. But after the Articuno and Zapdos Day, now the Lugia Day is waiting.
Lugia Day: If the challenges are completed, trainers receive five free raid passes for the Lugia Day, which revolves around the fire bird.
When is the Lugia Day? On September 8th, just two days before the end of the Stardust rewards, Lugia will appear exclusively in raid battles worldwide for three hours.
Special Attack: If you catch this Lugia after a successful raid, it will have the attack Sky Attack.
Shiny: If you are lucky, you have the chance to catch this monster in its shiny form on Lugia Day.
