In a few days, the Eon Pokémon Latios and Latias will switch their regions in Pokémon GO. Hurry up with the raids so you can catch a Latias before it disappears.
You have little time left to catch a Latias here with us in Europe. On May 8, the Eon Pokémon will change their locations and will therefore appear as level 5 raid bosses in other regions.
Latios is coming to Germany
Since April 2, trainers in Pokémon GO have been able to battle the Eon Pokémon Latios and Latias in level 5 raids. However, these are regionally divided. To ensure all trainers have the chance to catch both species, they will rotate.
When will the switch happen? Latias and Latios will switch their regions on May 8. This will likely occur around 10:00 PM German time. After that, you will catch Latios in Europe and Asia and Latias in North America, South America, and Africa.
How long will Latios and Latias remain as raid bosses in the game? You can challenge these two Eon Pokémon until June 5.
Where can you find Latios and Latias? The raid feature in Pokémon GO offers you battles of various difficulty levels. The highest is level 5. Here, you currently face the legendary Pokémon Latios and Latias. Raids take place at select gyms – a legendary raid can be recognized by either the dark egg or the image of the legendary Pokémon. You must attack with a group of trainers to defeat these strong bosses.

Another legendary Pokémon that you can currently catch in Pokémon GO is Zapdos. However, this works differently than with Latios and Latias, as Zapdos does not appear as a raid boss. It is a reward. The field research in May brings Zapdos as a reward for Pokémon GO players.
