Pokémon GO has partnered with Amazon Prime Gaming. You can now regularly receive items there if you have a membership.
What’s new: As the Pokémon GO team announced, trainers can now receive items and loot via Amazon Prime Gaming. Over the coming months, small bundles will be released repeatedly.
What’s included in the bundle? You can already secure the first bundle. The first “Prime Gaming pack” includes:
- 30 Poké Balls
- 5 Max Revives
- 1 Incense
Further bundles are expected in the coming months. Three bundles are already announced for June.
What do I need for this? If you want the bundles, you need an account with both Prime Gaming and Pokémon GO.
If you already have an Amazon Prime membership, the bundles are a nice bonus to secure some items in Pokémon GO. There are no additional costs for the bundle other than the regular membership.
However, it’s not worth signing up just for the items.
How to redeem the item bundle
First, you need to log in with your Amazon account and claim the package (via gaming.amazon). Then you will receive a code.
As an Android user, it’s easy for you, as you can enter the code directly in the game:
- Open Pokémon GO
- Tap the Poké Ball in the middle and open the shop
- Scroll all the way down
- Tap in the white box and paste the copied code there
- Now tap on Redeem
How to redeem promo codes on iOS/Apple? With iOS devices, you need to visit a website to redeem the promo codes. You cannot do this directly in the shop. The website is designed for you to log in and redeem codes. Remember to choose the account linked to your Pokémon GO when logging in.
